Board Membership

The seven member Board of Banksia Wines comprises:

Chairman: John Lamb
Former Managing Director of Channel 9 South Australia, former Chairman of the SA Tourism Commission and the Wine Tourism Council. Is a Director of the National Wine Centre.

Managing Director: Keith Smith
More than 20 years involvement in the wine industry. Co-founded Tatachilla in 1994. Previous CEO of Kaiser Stuhl and Wolf Blass Wines. Director of State Development in SA for three years. Is Chair of Anglicare SA.

Non-executive director: Peter Wade
A Director of Graincorp and a principal advisor with KPMG Consulting.

Non-executive director: Mr Gordon Cairns
Mr Cairns is Chief Executive Officer and a director of Lion Nathan Limited and is also a director of Opera Australia.

Non-executive director: Mr Paul Francis
Mr Francis is Managing Director, International & Business Development, of Lion Nathan Limited.

Non-executive director: Mr Duncan Makeig
Mr Makeig is legal counsel and company secretary of Lion Nathan Limited.

Non-executive director: Mr Glenn Barnes
Mr Barnes is an Executive General Manager for National Australia Group and is a non-executive director of Lion Nathan Limited. He is also a member of the Monash University council and is on the boards of the Reach Foundation, Kiboodle Ltd and Farmshed Ventures Pty Ltd.
